Weezer recently posted a new music video for their song "The Greatest Man That Ever Lived" from Weezer (Red) Album.
How far fetched would it be for a theatrical version of 21 Jump Street? Depp became its biggest star and the show had a number high profile (not at the time) guest-stars. Of course the real question is do you keep the premise stuck in high school (PG-13) or graduate it to something alone the lines of Miami Vice (R).

I stumbled upon this music video for Levi Weaver's "You Are Home". The video was produced by Paper Beasts Rock. Even with it having been released early in the year, I here by declare it "Music Video of the Year 2008." Make sure to watch it in full frame HD.

Kids, sometimes you stumble upon things while roaming the Internet(s). It might a couple years old, but I just now discovered a real jem. Case in point, Nina Gordon's cover of NWA's "Straight Out Of Compton". Nina Gordon who, you ask. Nina was one the original co-founder's of the band Veruca Salt. She left the band in the late 90's and only within recent years started putting out solo albums. She been vocally showing everyone her softer side as well as doing some awesome covers. And if you wondering, yes she can still rock it.

In March of 2008, Trent Reznor fired off a big "FUCK YOU" to former management, the record companies and the RIAA. After almost two decades of making money for other people while being controlled by other people, Trent Reznor finally took full control of his career both creatively and professionally. As a direct result Nine Inch Nails' released their sixth studio album Ghosts I-IV. It was offered in a variety of different packages.
Alright, I'm several months late on showing photos of my copy of the Deluxe Edition Package of Nine Inch Nails' Ghosts I-IV album. I remember the Ultra-Deluxe Limited Edition Package sold out in the blink of an eye. Believe you me, given the chance I would've bought it. Damn and it. Well... here are photos of what I got.
Last month Wayne Coyne of The Flaming Lips came down to the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema for a special triple screening of their movie Christmas On Mars.
First, Wayne Coyne is one of the few amazing people which there aren't enough of. Right off he makes sure to get your name. Yes he wants to know who you are, he's not doing it for show. He is there for you and on your time. He truely wants to listen to want you have to say and wants to provided you with a full and complete anwser. He is overly gracious when it comes to meeting each and every fan.
Second, Christmas On Mars is art made by artists. It reminds me of early David Lynch films. I really love the visual art design which has a cyberpunk quality. The movie is out now on DVD. I decided to order the Mega Deluxe Edition. Check out the video bellow with Wayne
showing off the contents. Below it I've included the trailer for Christmas On Mars.
Lastly, I also ordered the (limited quantities) The Flaming Lips photobook Waking Up With A Placebo Headwound.
Merry Christmas to me. :-)
I'm taking Sony's new PLAYSTATION®Network video delivery service for a spin. It's already being referred to as the 'PSN Video Store' by blogs and messagboards. My first video is a rental. It's an anime called Xam'd: Lost Memories: Season 1, Episode 1: Xam'd at the Dawn of War.
